Shipping and returns


Packages are generally dispatched within 24 hours after receipt of payment and are shipped via Royal Mail/Parcelforce with tracking and signature required. Once despatched, we will provide you with a link to track your package online.

Shipping fees may include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs, although at present we do not charge for them. Transport fees vary according to total weight and dimensions of the shipment, and our shipping estimator can give you an idea of the shipping cost before you purchase. We will confirm your order and exact costs once we have reviewed the order. We advise you to group your items in one order. Your package will be dispatched fully insured, and special care is taken to protect fragile objects.


We want you to be completely happy with your purchase, so we offer a no-quibble returns policy - just send the goods back in the same condition you received them, with all original packing and labels etc, and we process your refund or exchange (your choice) as quickly as possible.

Faulty or damaged in transit goods can be returned at our cost, but otherwise you are responsible for return shipping costs. Keep all packing materials to hand. We ask you help us with any potential claims against the courier company by taking pictures of the damage etc. Early Music Direct returns policy has been set up to keep costs down and to make the process as easy for you as possible. You must contact us and be in receipt of a returns authorisation (RA) number before sending any item back. Any product without a RA number will not be refunded.
